How Attraction Marketing Can Support Your Marketing Objectives

By Empowered Woman On May 14, 2010 Under Attraction Marketing Lead Generation, Newsletter

You’ve heard it before – attraction marketing can bring prospects directly to you.  But, when viewed from a different angle, how can it support your marketing objectives at the same time?

Every good marketing plan has been created using the key principles of marketing; that is to know your target market, to position yourself as an expert within your niche, and to more importantly, know exactly what your customer thinks and feels.

The number one objective in attracting customers to you should always start with a question.

• Who might be interested in my product, service, or business opportunity?

• What are they thinking, feeling, desiring or looking for?

• What problem do they have that I can solve?

You see, without a crystal clear vision of who your target market is, you will end up wasting your time, energy, and a whole bunch of money. A successful business comes from providing your clients with what they need and want.  In order to do that, you must know the intimate details of their wants, their needs, their pain, and their desires.

Next, take a look at yourself.

• What exactly is it that you sell?

• How does your product or service solve a problem or relieve a pain that your customer is experiencing?

• How can you position your product or service to become a solution for them?

• What are you doing to brand yourself as the expert to solve this problem or pain?

For example, you may sell a weight loss product that helps a person to lose fat and inches.  But what are you actually selling?  Going back to what we talked about, you need to think of the person’s pain (such as out of breath to climb a flight of stairs, no energy to play with children, clothes that don’t fit, embarrassed to see old friends, etc.).

You have now just identified that your weight loss product has a solution to a problem.  If you take this one step further, you can market your product to one of the pains mentioned above such as a parent that can’t play with their children because they are too unhealthy.  Therefore, your product now becomes the solution.  You can now say “I offer a nutritional program that gives moms and dads the energy they need to keep up with their kids”.

Once you have your target market identified and your solution to their pain established, it’s time to start attracting leads on the internet.

Attraction marketing is not a new concept but is a changing concept.  Branding yourself as the expert in your niche is imperative to success as an online marketer, and reaching your marketing objectives can be done with a focused approach where your customers’ needs come first and getting help from empowered women will get you there much faster.
